26 Mar Just another Monday in Honduras!
Yesterday was a fun day…so today…it was back to work! We began building around 9am….it was a little cooler today…in the 90’s instead of over 100 degrees…rumor has it that Wednesday may be in the 80’s!! We will be so excited if that happens! Our bodies are now all adjusted to the temperatures and everyone is doing a fantastic job mixing concrete, shoveling dirt, pouring buckets of concrete to fill in floors and just working together to get the most out of our week. The kids are running around helping us awhile….playing with the kids in the village awhile…they are never complaining and enjoying being here tremendously…It is so cool to see them interact with the kids and not see that there is any difference…they were all created by God to work together in His Kingdom… and that is exactly what they are doing this week!
We worked building until around 3 and then headed to the hotel to shower and rest an hour before going to Copprome to play with the kids! Everyone seems extremely comfortable and enjoying spending time together…Lots of futball and hand games and just walking around and looking at tarantula’s!!! haha! The kids love to scare the Americans with these scarey…hairy creatures!!
Then we were off to Power Chicken to have some amazing seafood!!! It was a good day!
