14 Jan Honduras makes me smile!
I’m back and it feels so good!!!!! We had a great flight….and arrived in Honduras excited and ready to love on some souls! Can I just say that having 2 sweet families here who have adopted several kids each is so cool….to watch them instantly bond with the kids and form relationships at the orphanage is so sweet….we have kids here with us from age 8 up…they are so cute just running into the orphanage and playing was so nice to watch! They were all so excited to get there and interact….We rented a van and the kids were all singing and laughting as we drove to and from the orphanage…..I guess you all should know…we have 9 kids plus Gaby and Gabriel…so 11 kids and 5 adults on this trip..ok…Diana is 21…so 10 kids and 6 adults..the lack of inhibitions and playful attitudes are contagious and so much fun!!! I must confess to you the best part of this day for me was getting to the airport and seeing Gaby’s smile and knowing she would be with me 24 hours a day for 7 days!!! Then…on top of that…as soon as we got to the hotel…Gabriel shows up with his bag for a week!!! Another big smile filled with excitement…..as we settled in our room tonight…watching them both unpack their bags…put their clothes on the shelves and their bathroom stuff layed out…giggling and laughing the entire time…Neither one of them have ever stayed in a hotel for a week they have spent a night or two with me before…but a whole week!!! I feel so blessed and so excited … I am sorry I have no pictures today…but I promise to make it up to you tomorrow…. we will go to Mt Olivos tomorrow…and oh….just got a call that the TV station here wants to interview Ty and I tomorrow at Copprome…WHAT???
