Donde?

We began our day today making food bags for the 27 families at Mt Olivos..What did they get you ask? Soap, Crisco, sugar, chicken seasoning, rice, beans, noodles, sauce, salt, flour, corn flour, bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, potatoes,  oatmeal, tomato sauce….the assembly line was amazing….and the giggling from the Oatsvall and Mayernick kids as they filled the bags was precious!!!!        I must also talk a little about Kate and  Diana who came on the trip…they have been so amazing to get to know…Kate is a senior at CPA and Diana is a senior in nursing school at Lipscomb…their hearts were so pure and sweet….they both have such a heart for missions…                                          Then off to Mount Olivos to distribute….It is Sunday….so we got all of the village together for a little singing and preachin! haha….we started with……Donde and Jesus Loves me….. all of you who have been are probably singing right now remembering how precious the Mt Olivos people are…..the looks on their faces….the excitement in their eyes when you ask them…..How many of you know that Jesus REALLY DOES LOVE YOU!!!! All hands are raised……and smiles on their faces as they acknowlege the fact that their hope is in Him!! Then Ty brought the message about men being leaders for their famiies….looking to God..having respect…self discipine…..and working together as a village to keep Satan out….we reminded them how much we love them and how Jesus sent us there…..just seeing the men smile and nod knowing that they are going to be able to provide a house for their families so their kids do not become orphans…..   It was a sweet day….we also had our birthday party at Copprome for the January, February and March birthdays since I won’t be back until April! (remember…I have my first grandbaby due the end of February….and am so excited to be available for my sweet daughter Mandi….and my grandbaby…Elle)…..It was a sweet time as we played soccer (football) and hopscotch and anything else the kids at Copprome wanted to play….The Oatsvalls and the Mayernicks are leaving tomorrow….they have been so much fun to serve with ….amazing families….doing amazing things for orphans….and loving every moment of it!!!   I am so excited to see what all God will do through 147 Million Orphans in 2012!!!! He continues to amaze us with all He is doing through these women and this company!!! If you met them…you would see why….their hearts ache for orphans and they speak out on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves….It is amazing to see….    We ended the day with dinner at Power Chicken….need I say more?
