05 Jun Day 2 heat….shovels….pizza
Today began our ‘hard work’ days….the team did amazing…we shifted sand for mortar…tore down and moved a house to prepare the land for the new foundation….tied rebar and made triangles for the posts……It was hot..but we accomplished a lot! We ended the day at Copprome playing with the kids and a Pizza Hut delivery!!! Tomorrow we begin our VBS at Olivos and Copprome….a big shout out of thanks to Rebecca and Crystal for planning and organizing VBS for the week! Dr. Steve is with us this week and he is funny and a blast to be around! We have asked him all kinds of medical questions and everytime we think a child here is sick….we call on him! He is a great sport and we pray he will be back with us….a lot….along with his sweet wife and 2 daughters! We have 2 teachers here who are quiet and hard working! They spent some time in the homework room at Copprome today! We also have Lola’s niece here with us on a break from college helping interpret! Tomorrow we will begin 4 new homes at Olivos!!! praying for a cloudy…overcast day!!!
