29 Jun 2013 Honduras Mission Team #3 day 3
We poured the footings today for house #22, tied lots of rebar and did VBS for Olivos and Copprome! Great job to Marcie and Chellie for their leadership and organization on the VBS. . the kids loved every moment!
We also did a little medical attention for a kid and an adult at Olivos with some skin problems on their feet. . . too many barefoot walks and unclean feet are not healthy for anyone. . so I did some foot washing and medicating. . all part of serving this sweet community. .
We had pizza for dinner. . . then a group of 10 went with Shelton and played basketball. . they seemed to really enjoy hanging out together and all came back laughing and red faced!
Then Shelton took off to the airport to pick up another team member. . Jordyn. . who we all love! She will spend the rest of the trip with us. .
I should have some exciting news to share tomorrow concerning our transition program. . noche, noche!
