22 Sep Medical missions Day 2
Today was a great day! We began with a good breakfast and headed off to Olivos! They set up different stations in the community center and worked from 9:00 to 3:30 seeing men, women and children from Olivos and some surrounding villages…After helping them get the clinic set up….Shelton, nan and I went to buy food for Copprome… and lunch for the medical team….then back to get food for Olivos and more food for Copprome….it was a crazy, busy day…We went back to Olivos in the afternoon and everyone was well taken care of! There were lots of skin problems that they treated…even Lisa was pricking fingers and testing blood…It was amazing all of the things they were able to treat….tomorrow they will set up at a village down the street from Olivos…I will try to give you a better description tomorrow of some details of the medical team…..We ended the day at the mall eating at Applebees and then hit the fair in the parking lot….Gaby and Gabriel were hilarious!! Yes…I have both my Honduran kids with me tonight….AND Shelton and Nan all in the same room….It doesn’t get much better than this!!!! And I get 5 more nights of it!!! WOOHOO!!!!..
