03 Jul Day 5. . and then there were 2
It is so hard to believe that we only have 2 days left of our first Hearts2honduras mission trip! We had another great day today…we spent the morning finishing up the painting and the chicken house… Some of the boys and Blake went with Ty to Mt Olivos to help them continue finishing the well…they are now running trenches from the well sight so each home when it is built will have access……Then we all joined them at Mount Olivos to do a VBS for the whole community… and what an amazing time that was! We did David and Goliath again…and the whole village loved it!! From the little ones to the adults who were watching loved Kaleb as David and Reid as Goliath…it was precious! We took them lots of gifts and they were so excited…we bought them all ice cream cones to end our sweet time together! Then off to Copprome to pick up 9 of the kids for an excursion to the mall…some of them had never been to the mall….watching them order ANYTHING THEY WANTED to eat was a sweet sight! Then we took them to play games…shop…and ride some little rides at the mall. It was a night most of us will never forget! Watching them have fun was priceless! Gaby and Gabriel spent the night with me at the hotel last night and they were so sweet. They just enjoyed being able to watch TV in the bed and wake up and have breakfast with all of us!! I so wish I could just bring them home to America now!!! Oh well….God has a plan…and it is perfect!!! Tomorrow is church at the orphanage and the birthday parties for June birthdays!! I hope you all are serving wherever you are!
